Spring is one of the four main seasons in color analysis, defined by warmth, clarity, and freshness. People in this category often have golden or peach undertones, sparkling eyes (blue, green, hazel), and luminous hair (from golden blonde to warm brown or auburn). The overall impression is light, lively, and radiant.
Within the Spring season, there are three subtypes: Light Spring, Warm Spring, and Bright Spring. Each has its own nuances, but all share the same radiant and luminous quality.
Light Spring (Fresh, Delicate, Airy)
Light Spring is defined by fair skin with golden undertones, light eyes (blue, green, or hazel), and light to medium hair. Contrast between features is low, giving a soft and delicate overall look.

Examples:
From left to right: Amanda Seyfried wearing a butter-yellow Prada dress at the 2018 Met Gala, Gwyneth Paltrow in white Bermuda shorts and an oversized aqua shirt, and Paul Bettany in a beige suit at a Disney Enterprise event.
Style Tip:
Choose lightweight fabrics and pastel layers like silk blouses, peach knitwear, or aqua accents. Avoid very dark colors like black or navy, which overpower Light Spring’s delicacy.
Warm Spring (Golden, Radiant, True Spring)
Warm Spring is the “truest” version of Spring, everything about this subtype is golden and sun-kissed. Skin has a clear golden undertone, eyes are warm and bright, and hair often ranges from golden blonde to auburn.
Colors palette:

Examples:
From left to right: Marcia Cross in an aqua-blue suit, Cameron Diaz in a coral dress with a beige trench coat, and Brad Pitt in a yellow ensemble.
Style Tip:
Warm Springs shine in sunny, earthy colors. Think camel coats, coral dresses, and golden jewelry. Cool greys and icy blues should be avoided, as they drain the natural warmth.
Bright Spring (Vivid, Energetic, Playful)
Bright Spring combines warmth with intensity. The features have higher contrast: sparkling eyes, luminous skin, and medium to dark warm hair. This season can wear vibrant colors that other Springs cannot.
Colors palette:

Examples:
From left to right: Rachel McAdams in a fuchsia floral dress with a light beige long blazer, Blake Lively in an orange ensemble, and Andrew Garfield in a sand-colored suit at Milan Fashion Week.
Style Tip:
Bright Springs can embrace statement pieces: a turquoise jacket, a coral blazer, or colorful prints. Balance them with warm neutrals like ivory or camel to keep the look harmonious.
Spring palettes are all about light, warmth, and radiance. Each subtype has its own unique set of colors, but they all share the same fresh and luminous feeling. Experiment within your palette to discover which shades make you feel most confident and alive.
And remember: while Light Springs can wear deeper tones, or Bright Springs can try softer shades, the real “wow effect” always comes from your core seasonal palette.
